Operating Instructions

Setting the Time:

  1. Press and release the ‘Mode’ button until the time displays with the seconds flashing
  2. Zero the seconds by pressing the ‘Start/Stop’ button
  3. Adjust the time using the ‘Start/Stop’ button, and the ‘Split/Reset’ button to cycle to the next option.
  4. When cycling through the hours a small ‘A’ or ‘P’ will flash on the left hand side of the display. ‘A’ indicates AM, ‘P’ indicates PM. If there is no letter displayed the watch is in the 24-hour display. Simply cycle through, using the ‘Start/Stop’ button to choose 24-hour or AM/PM.
  5. Once all options have been adjusted and cycled through, the display will stop flashing, indicating the time is set.
  6. NB Holding the ‘Start/Stop’ button down will advance the time faster.

Setting the Alarm:

  1. Press and release the ‘Mode’ button until the alarm option flashes.
  2. The ‘A’ beside the time refers to ‘AM’ the ‘P’ refers to ‘PM’
  3. Adjust the time using the ‘Start/Stop’ button and the ‘Split/Reset’ button to cycle through the hours/minutes.
  4. Once the desired time is reached press the ‘Mode’ button.

Turning on/off the Alarm:

  1. While in the time mode press and hold the ‘Start/Stop’ and ‘Split/Reset’ buttons at the same time. You will hear a short beep.  
  2. The alarm is on when a there is a small alarm icon in the top right of the LCD screen. Repeat step 1 to turn the alarm off.

Stopwatch Mode:

  1. Press the ‘Mode’ button until the lines below ‘SU’ (Sunday), ‘FR’ (Friday) and ‘SA’ (Saturday) are flashing.
  2. Start the counter by pressing the ‘Start/Stop’ button.
  3. Stop the counter by pressing the ‘Start/Stop’ button.
  4. Zero the counter by first stopping the counter with the ‘Start/Stop’ button then press the ‘Split/Reset’.

Setting the Time:

  1. Press the ‘Mode’ button for 3 seconds until the alarm setting is displayed then press the ‘Mode’ button again to commence setting the time
  2. Press the ‘Lap/Rest’ button to zero the seconds
  3. Press the ‘Start/Stop’ to advance to the minutes. Press the ‘Lap/Reset’ button to change the minutes. (If you hold the ‘Lap/Reset’ button down it will advance faster).
  4. Once the minutes are correct, press the ‘Start/Stop’ button to progress to the hours. Use the same procedure to set the correct hour, month, date and day
  5. To complete the set-up press the ‘Mode’ button
  6. To change the time mode from 12 to 24-hour hold the ‘Start/Stop’ button down and press the ‘Mode’ button. To change the date mode from English to American hold the ‘Mode’ button and press the ‘Lap/Reset’ button

Setting the Alarm:

  1. Hold the ‘Mode’ button for 3 seconds to enter the alarm setting mode
  2. Press the ‘Lap/reset’ button to change the hour
  3. Press the ‘Start/Stop’ button to advance to the minutes. Repeat step 2 to change the minutes
  4. Press the ‘Mode’ button to lock in the time

  1. While in the time mode press and hold the ‘Lap/Reset’ button and then press the ‘Start/Stop’ button at the same time. You will hear a short beep.

Stopwatch Mode:

  1. The ST1002 can count up to 24-hours
  2. Press the ‘Normal Time/Stop Watch’ button to enter the stopwatch mode
  3. Press the ‘Start/Stop’ button to start the Stopwatch
  4. While the stopwatch is active press the ‘Lap/Reset’ button to freeze the time displayed. Despite being frozen, the stopwatch is still counting, press the ‘Lap/Reset’ button again to see the lapsed time
  5. To pause the stopwatch press the ‘Start/Stop’ button
  6. To zero the stopwatch press the ‘Lap/reset’ button while the stopwatch is paused

Setting the Time:

  1. Press the ‘Mode’ button until the year, date and time is displayed
  2. Press and hold the ‘Split/Reset’ button until the year flashes
  3. Press the ‘Start/Stop’ button to advance the year
  4. Press the ‘Split/Reset’ button to move to the date
  5. Repeat the steps to change the date, 12/24-hour option, hours, minutes and seconds
  6. Press the ‘Mode’ button to confirm the settings
  7. NB The day and date will adjust automatically for each moth and leap years

Stopwatch Mode:

  1. Press the ‘Mode’ button until the Stopwatch mode is set
  2. In Time/Calendar mode, press the “mode” button to switch to stopwatch mode.  
  3. Before you start the stopwatch ensure it has been zeroed by pressing the Split/reset button.
  4. Start the stopwatch by pressing the start/stop button
  5. Pressing the split/reset button will record the lap/split time
  6. Lap Time refers to a elapsed time required to cover a given section of the whole distance
  7. Split Time refers to an elapsed time required to cover a distance from the start to a given point.
  8. The first row of the display will show the Split time as well as the lap completed. (top left hand corner)

  10. The bottom row shows the total time elapsed.
  11. Press the start/stop button to finish the timing

Recall:

  1. Press the recall button to go through the recorded time data (both lap and split) of every lap.
  2. Whenever the RECALL icon appears, you can press the Start/Stop button to display the average lap time, and press the Split/Reset button to recall the fastest lap time, and press it again to recall the slowest lap time.
  3. Press the Mode button to return to the stopwatch screen. To resume the stopwatch press the Start/Stop button, or you can clear the record by pressing the Split/Reset key.

Countdown :

  1. In the time mode press the mode button twice, to enter the timer mode. The TR symbol will appear on the upper left corner.
  2. You can set the countdown time by pressing the Split/Reset button and holding it for 2 seconds, the hour numeral will flash to advance the hour numerals press the Start/Stop button, to move on to the minutes press the Split/reset button and  repeat to move to the seconds.
  3. After setting press the mode button to confirm the setting. Your target countdown will be shown in the middle line and bottom line of the display.
  4. Press the start/stop button to start, and press it again to stop/pause and press again to resume. When the timer reaches zero there is an audio “beep” signal and the timer will start counting down again. The number of countdowns completed is displayed on the top line.
  5. To stop the countdowns press the Start/Stop button. Pressing the Split/reset button wipes the memory and resets the set countdown time. Then hold down the Split /reset button for 2 seconds puts you back to reset mode. Pressing the mode button moves you on to the Pacer function saving the countdown cleared.

Pacer Function:

  1. In time mode press the mode button three times to enter the Pacer mode.
  2. Pace will display on the top row. The digits in the lower right corner will be flashing “10”
  3. Press the Split/Reset button to advance the frequency.
  4. Press the Start/Stop button to start the pacer.
  5. If you choose 120, there will be 120 “beep” sounds per minute.
  6. The Pace will be flashing on the upper row, the counted value of beeps will be shown on the middle row and the frequency will be displayed on the bottom row.
  7. Press the start/stop button to stop or pause the pacer. Then pressing the split/reset button will clear the beep count.
  8. Pressing the mode button advances the display to the time display and wipes the memory of the pacer.

Setting the Time:

  1. Press the ‘Mode’ button until the calendar and time is displayed
  2. Hold the ‘Lap/Split/Reset’ button until the seconds flash
  3. Press the ‘Start/Stop’ button to zero the seconds
  4. Press the ‘Lap/Split/Reset’ to cycle to the minutes
  5. Press the ‘Start/Stop’ button to advance the minutes
  6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 to set the hours, year, month and date
  7. Once the date is selected, press the ‘Lap/Split/Reset’ once more to complete the time set up

Stopwatch Mode:

  1. Press the ‘Mode’ button until the stopwatch mode is displayed
  2. Press the ‘Lap/Split/Reset’ to zero the stopwatch
  3. Press the ‘Start/Stop’ button to start the stopwatch
  4. Press the ‘Lap/Split/Reset’ button to record the lap/split time
  5. The top row of the display shows the Split Time and the number of laps completed (top left)
  6. The middle row of the display shows the time of the last lap
  7. The bottom row shows the total elapsed time
  8. Press the ‘Start/Stop’ button to pause/finish timing
  9. To view the Lap and Split Times press the ‘Recall’ button

NB: Lap Time refers to an elapsed time to cover a given section of the whole distance

      Split Time refers to an elapsed time to cover a distance for the start to a given point

Stroke/Frequency Measuring:

  1. Press the ‘Mode’ button until the Stroke/Frequency screen is displayed (0_0)
  2. Press the ‘Start/Stop’ button to start the measurement
  3. After the third stroke is made press the ‘Start/Stop’ button to stop the measurement
  4. The number of strokes per minute will now be displayed

  2. Zero the seconds by pressing the ‘Start/Stop’ button
  3. Adjust the time using the ‘Start/Stop’ button, and the ‘Lap/Reset’ button to cycle to the next option.

  1. Press the ‘Mode’ button until the Stopwatch mode is displayed (the 1st day and the last 2 days will flash)
  2. Press the ‘Start/Stop’ button to start the Stopwatch
  3. For an intermediate time press the ‘Lap/Reset’ button. Press the ‘Lap/Reset’ button again to return to time keeping
  4. Press the ‘Start/Stop’ button to pause the Stopwatch
  5. Press the ‘Start/Stop’ button to return to time keeping or press the ‘Lap/Reset’ button to zero the timer

Setting the Alarm:

  1. Press and release the ‘Mode’ button until the alarm option flashes (the 2nd day will also flash)
  2. Press the ‘Start/Stop’ button to change the hour. The ‘A’ beside the time refers to ‘AM’ the ‘P’ refers to ‘PM’
    Press the ‘Lap/Reset’ button to advance to the minutes
  3. Repeat step 2 to change the minutes
  4. Press the ‘Mode’ button to set the alarm
  5. The alarm is on when a small clock is displayed on the right of the screen
  6. To turn on/off the alarm press the ‘Start/Stop’ button and the ‘Lap/Reset’ button at the same time.

Setting the Clock:

  1. Slide the switch on the left hand side to ‘CLOCK’
  2. Press the ‘HR’, ‘MIN’ and ‘SEC’ buttons to set the time
  3. Hold the ‘CLEAR’ button for 3 seconds to change from 12-hour to 24-hour format

Count-Up Setting:

  1. Slide the switch on the left hand side to ‘COUNT-UP’
  2. Press the ‘START/STOP’ button to start
  3. Press the ‘START/STOP’ button to pause
  4. Press the ‘CLEAR’ button to reset

Count-Down/Timer Setting:

  1. Slide the switch on the left hand side to ‘TIMER’
  2. Press the ‘HR’, ‘MIN’ and ‘SEC’ buttons to set the time (Maximum of 23hrs, 59mins and 59secs)
  3. Press the ‘START/STOP’ button to start
  4. Press the ‘START/STOP’ button to pause
  5. Press the ‘CLEAR’ button to reset

Memory Function:

If you frequently use the same count-down time, you can store it.

  1. Slide the switch on the left hand side to ‘TIMER’
  2. Press the ‘HR’, ‘MIN’ and ‘SEC’ buttons to set the time (Maximum of 23hrs, 59mins and 59secs)
  3. Press the ‘MEMORY’ button to pre-set your desired time
  4. To cancel the pre-set time press the ‘CLEAR’ button when the memory icon is displayed on the LCD display

Operating Instructions

The CL306 Digital Timer has four switches on the back:

  1. Power On/Off Switch
  2. Vibrate and Soft Beep On/Off Switch
  3. Flashing LED On/Off Switch
  4. Loud Beep  On/Off Switch
  5. 2, 3 and 4 refer to the alarm type. You may choose any combination of the three

Count Down Mode:

  1. Hold the ‘MIN’ and ‘SEC’ buttons at the same time to zero the timer
  2. Press the ‘MIN’ button to increase the minutes
  3. Press the ‘SEC’ button to increase the seconds
  4. The maximum time for the CL306 Digital Timer is 99:59
  5. Once the desired time is reached, press the ‘Start/Stop’ button to start the timer
  6. To pause the timer, press the ‘Start/Stop’ button
  7. When the timer reaches zero it will Vibrate/Beep/Flash (depending on which setting you have chosen)

Count Up Mode :

  1. Hold down the ‘MIN’ and ‘SEC’ buttons at the same time to zero the timer
  2. Press the ‘Start/Stop’ button to start the timer. The maximum time the counter with count to is 99:59
  3. To pause the timer, press the ‘Start/Stop’ button. Press it again to restart the timer
